1. Overview
The World Anti-Bullying Card Program ("we," "our," or "us") provides the Alert Card - WABC mobile application to empower individuals, students, and communities to document, report, and combat bullying, harassment, and unsafe situations.
We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is handled, and the choices you have when using the Alert Card - WABC iOS application.
2. Information We Collect and Process
The Alert Card - WABC app is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not require account registration, usernames, or passwords to use the core features of the app.
A. Incident Report Data (User-Provided)
When you create an Alert Card or submit an incident report, you may choose to enter:
Incident details: Incident category (e.g., Verbal Abuse, Threat, Physical Acts, Cyber-Bullying, Rumors, Sexual Harassment), date, time, and location.
Involved parties: Names or descriptions of individuals involved (reporter, target, offender, witnesses).
Narrative descriptions: Any additional written notes or context regarding the event.
How this data is handled: This data is processed locally on your device. We do not automatically upload, harvest, or store this information on external databases or tracking servers.
B. Report Export and Email Submissions
Email Submissions: If you choose to submit an Alert Card via email within the app, the report data is formatted into an email routed through your device’s native mail client (e.g., Apple Mail) to our review inbox (admin@worldagainstbullying.com / 1worldagainstbullying@gmail.com) or a recipient of your choice (such as a school counselor, administrator, or trusted adult).
PDF Export: If you generate a printable PDF Alert Card, the PDF is created entirely on your device and saved or shared via your local device share sheet.
C. Analytics and Device Diagnostics
We do not collect personalized device identifiers, biometric data, or precise real-time GPS location tracking.
If you participate in Apple TestFlight or opt in to share diagnostic data with app developers via iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash reports and performance metrics solely to help resolve technical bugs and improve app stability.
3. How We Use Information
Information received through incident reports or support inquiries is used strictly to:
Review and process bullying or harassment reports submitted voluntarily by users.
Assist users in obtaining relevant community support, resources, or guidance.
Maintain, test, and improve the functionality, reliability, and security of the Alert Card - WABC application.
We do not use your personal information or report contents for marketing, behavioral advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We respect the sensitive nature of bullying reports:
No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize any user data under any circumstances.
No Third-Party Ad Networks: Alert Card - WABC contains no third-party commercial advertisements, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising SDKs.
Legal and Safety Compliance: We may disclose received report details only if required to do so by applicable law, court order, or legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm, abuse, self-harm, or to protect the vital safety of a minor or another individual.
5. Data Storage, Retention, and Security
Local Device Storage: Unsubmitted draft reports and generated cards reside locally within the application sandbox on your device. You can permanently delete this information at any time by clearing the report fields or uninstalling the application.
Email Transmission: Information submitted via email is stored securely in our designated organizational inbox with restricted administrative access. We retain email correspondence only as long as necessary to address the reported situation or to comply with applicable non-profit record-keeping requirements.
6. Privacy Features (Quick-Exit)
The app includes safety features, such as a Quick-Exit function, allowing users to immediately conceal the app interface if privacy or personal safety is compromised while filling out a report. Note that using Quick-Exit does not transmit data externally; it is an on-device safety measure.
7. Children's Privacy
The Alert Card - WABC app is designed as an anti-bullying resource suitable for general audiences, including youth and students:
We do not knowingly solicit personal data from children under 13 without voluntary parental, guardian, or educational context.
We do not build commercial profiles on children or condition access to features on providing personal details.
If a parent or legal guardian discovers that their child has submitted identifying information without authorization and requests its removal, please contact us at admin@worldagainstbullying.com and we will promptly delete the submission from our records.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates, new safety features, or changes in legal obligations. Any updates will be posted to this page with an updated "Effective Date."
