Spread the Word About Bullying
I am a young professional, passionate about service and helping others. I started the World Anti-Bullying Card Program because I wanted to create a non-confrontational way for people, especially the youth to seek help when facing bullying, harassment, or abuse. Many victims stay silent out of fear, shame, or uncertainty about who to trust. By offering a simple, discreet card that connects them to a trusted adult or resource, the program empowers individuals to reach out safely without having to speak up in a stressful or intimidating situation. The goal is to break the cycle of silence and offer a path to support, healing, and protection.
When I was 13, I experienced bullying that left me feeling isolated, confused, and afraid to speak up. The constant fear and emotional toll it took on me made me feel like I had no voice. I carried the weight of it in silence for a while, unsure of how to ask for help or whether anyone would understand. Eventually, I reached a breaking point and found the courage to tell my mom what had been happening. Opening up to her was a turning point; She supported me with open arms, and soon after, my dad, my brothers Jim and Josh, and other friends and family members rallied around me with love and encouragement. Their support reminded me that I wasn’t alone and gave me the strength to heal and move forward. That experience is a big part of why I’m so passionate about creating a safe, non-confrontational way for others to speak up and seek help so that no one has to carry that burden in silence.
